About Me

Wool & Tea is a destination for exploration in fiber arts. Sharing historical and contemporary works that take one's breath away, and that inspire visitors to create new possibilities in their own fiber journeys.

I have a deep love of the art and language of fiber. A self taught knitter, I've been knitting for over 30 years.

I've learned all forms of fiber arts, from tatting to sprang weaving to shibori and ancient metal weaving techniques. I've studied indigo dying in Nigeria and Aran knitting in Ireland.

In NYC, my work included knitwear design, textile design, color forecasting, and feng shui consulting. Clients included: Barney’s, The Limited, Burlington Mills, Liz Claiborne, Origins, Ralph Lauren, and the Siddha Yoga Foundation. I have designed textiles for: Disney's New Amsterdam Theatre, Fox Network, Holland America Cruise Lines, The Russian Tea Room, Hyatt Hotels, and Museum of Modern Art Store.

While living in Santa Fe, I owned a design studio creating environments of harmony, balance, and renewal. Using principles of eco-design, feng shui, and geomancy, I specialized in conscious design and development of interior and exterior spaces for awakening the senses and heightening awareness of one’s natural surroundings.

Now making the Pacific Northwest my home, I'm focusing on my "Sacred Living Arts" of more environmental sculpture, healing gardens, and earth art prayers.
