An enchantment would not be complete without a selkie to infuse it's otherworldly magic.
I recently traveled to southern CA and was blessed to enjoy so much wonderful sea life.

As I began gathering flowers for a new piece, this tiny messenger appeared.
This singer of songs is the gift of transformation, cleansing, and rebirth.
Thru it's ancient song, frog reminds us to replenish the waters of our spirit,
and to cleanse the waters of the earth.

The black eyed susans started to wilt before I could expand into a full flower of life.
This piece is like a sketch. Having worked within a short window of time,
I see where I could have created more dimensions in this floral star.

I was amazed to see this image while opening all the bee photos I had taken recently.
There were several that were similar, but I liked her cute little striped bottom here.

This image was taken during hot mid-afternoon sun.
The plants and flowers were completely dry and there had been no rain. There was no mist.
No moisture to cause refractions to the lens.
